Meet Dr.Josh Flax

I help patients in Midtown Toronto recover from sports injuries, repetitive strain injuries, and chronic pain using evidence-based chiropractic care and movement-focused rehabilitation. My approach combines hands-on treatment, education, and exercise to help you move better, feel stronger, and stay active.

Education & Credentials:

  • Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.), New York Chiropractic College

  • B.A. (Hons.) in Kinesiology, University of Western Ontario

  • Certificate in Medical Neurofunctional Acupuncture, McMaster University

My Background:

My journey into chiropractic care began after being diagnosed with scoliosis as a teenager and struggling with chronic back and shoulder pain. Experiencing the benefits of chiropractic treatment firsthand inspired me to dedicate my career to helping others overcome pain and move with confidence.

Before becoming a chiropractor, I worked as a certified personal trainer, where I developed a deep understanding of movement, strength, and injury prevention. Today, I integrate that experience into every treatment plan—combining chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapy, acupuncture, and functional rehabilitation to restore mobility and prevent future injuries.

Conditions I Commonly Treat:

  • Repetitive strain injuries (Tennis Elbow, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome)

  • Neck, back, and shoulder pain

  • Sports injuries and muscle strains

  • Tension headaches and postural imbalances

  • Sciatica and nerve entrapments

At my Toronto Sports and Repetitive Stress Injury Clinic, my goal is to help every patient move better, feel better, and live pain-free so they can keep doing what they love.
